The photos were expressly concerned with the sense of a natural spiritual element. The images were greatly inspired by Andrei Tarkovsky’s film, Stalker – 1979, inspired by the book Roadside Picnic – 1972, authored by the brothers Boris and Arkady Strugatsky.
